Over the years Dream-A-Way and Bath Travel have build a solid foundation and with the New Sidmouth Branch (headed up by Mike Rock) now formed, the relationship has grown.

Regional Sales Manager David Evans said

Mike Rock does a wonderful job collecting our old brochures and it is a win/win situation with our stockrooms regularly cleared of old brochures and Dream-A-Way boosting their fund raising by selling the brochures to a recycling centre. Bath Travel were also pleased to make a £500 donation when Mike needed a vehicle upgrade.

And now the partnership has wings with a sponsored Sky Dive in which members of theBath Travel team are raising money for Dream-A-Way

David Concludes…

We have 9 brave young ladies at Bath Travel who are taking part in a Sky Dive on Saturday 25th April. Our business has paid the Sky Dive fees, so every single sponsorship penny raised by our girls will go to Dream-A-Way. Our nine superstars are Rachael Hailstone, Lauren Kemp and Milly Hart from the Sidmouth Branch, Rebecca Hancock from Honiton, Lauren Kent Teignmouth, Amy Hogan Torquay, Kate Askew Budleigh and Sarah Creed and Sophie Randle from our Newton Abbot branch. These branches have also held cake sale days in their branches to raise further funds for Dream-A-Way.

Bath Travel & Dream-ABath Travel-Way – The start of a great partnership.

One of the Jumpers Eighteen-year-old Rebecca Hancock (Pictured above with Mike Rock) is taking on the skydive as part of an inter-work challenge set by her employers, Bath Travel.

“I have always wanted to do it,” the apprentice travel consultant said. “The jump is quite scary but it is for a good cause.”

Another is Kate Askew, manager at the Budleigh branch of Bath Travel,

She said: “I always wanted to jump out of a plane, but when this came along with Dream-A-Way, I really wanted to do it.

“It’s a really good charity. I am scared of heights, but you have to push yourself to do things like this.

“I just want to raise as much as I can for a really good cause.”

Anyone who wants to donate to the jump can do so by visiting the online fundraising page – www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/bathtravel
