Friends of Dream-A-Way Sidmouth
Dream-A-Way are proud to have set up their first friends group in Sidmouth .
Local man Mike Rock has been elected as the chairman of this new group and has recruited Maxy Maxwell, Alan and Jenny Lane ,Carol Daw, Lorraine Fowler ,Gemma Rock, Saul Vicary and John Matthews, to work with him
Many more local people and businesses have already supported this enthusiastic new group and have raised a massive total so far, rapidly approaching a staggering £23,000.
This has been raised in many ways from various sponsored events including parachute jumps and a mammoth cycle ride from John o Groats to Lands End , also from a hugely successful golf day , comedy nights at the Marine and paper recycling

Friends of Dream-A-Way, Sidmouth has set themselves a campaign target of £30,000 in their first year which will enable the charity to purchase a brand-new holiday home at Sandy Bay which will benefit many hundreds of local families for many years to come
Jeff Merrett, Chairman commented “We are both amazed and delighted at the success that Mike and his hard-working team have already achieved and wish them all the very best for the future”
