To all at Dream-A-Way,
We are writing to thank you enormously for giving us our first real family holiday.
Despite a bumpy start to our week at Sandy Bay with our disabled son Quinn being admitted to hospital the night before we were due to set off, we have had a wonderful time at the Devon Cliffs site with Quinn and his dad joining us for most of the week.
We had been so nervous of attempting holidays previously with all the extra consideration that comes with having a child with profound needs, but were thrilled to find that the caravan and site exceeded our hopes meaning we were able to cater for the whole family and spend some much needed special time together.
The staff we encountered on the site were most helpful, even supporting us to use the pool for our first ever swim together as a family!
We can’t stop telling friends and family about our wonderful holiday and this fantastic charity, including some we hope will be able to benefit themselves. It has been so important to us to make memories for our children, who carry the burden of being young carers, and to enjoy each other and this wonderful setting.
