The nineteenth annual Dream-A-Way Golf Classic took place at beautiful Woodbury Park in a day of brilliant sunshine during September.
Twenty six teams from all over Devon and far beyond took part in another excellent day, several of which have played in each event since the very first one back in 1995.
The course, as always, was in superb condition and the brilliant Woodbury Park team ensured we were thoroughly looked after all day, from a superb full English breakfast to a delicious evening dinner.
With grateful thanks to member and team player with the Shoe Buns, Andy Neilson, we were fortunate to be able to provide every player with an ample supply of energy boosting Gatorade.
For the very first time two Dream-A-Way members gallantly took up their clubs to represent the charity.
In true honourable style they graciously took last place.
Martin and Phil are now in training for next year so will be a force to be reckoned with!!
…AND THE WINNERS WERE ….
In third place , with a score of 88 points ,were our great supporters MAT Electrics, captained by the irrepressible Tim Jones.
In second place , with 89 points were the ladies’ eye candy team of amazing young men led by Woodbury Park’s own Tom Jessamine.
In the winning place, with an amazing 93 points ,were the team from Devon Cliffs captained by Mike Jones. 
These lucky guys will be enjoying a golfing holiday in Antequerra, Spain, courtesy of our friend Rod Villegas at Villegas Golf
