David Evans, Regional Sales Manager for Bath Travel said
Bath Travel are absolutely delighted to have formed a great partnership with the Dream-A-Way Charity.
Dream-A-Way collect our old brochures and it is a win/win situation with our stockrooms regularly cleared of old brochures and DAW boosting their fund raising by selling the brochures to a recycling centre. Dream-A-Way received a £4,000 cheque from the recycling centre in April 2015 from the brochures collected from Bath Travel branches in Devon.
Bath Travel were also pleased to make a £500 donation when DAW needed a vehicle upgrade.
The Western Region also have 9 brave young ladies at Bath Travel who have taken part in a Sky Dive for DAW raising a further £3,000 in sponsorship for the charity.
Bath Travel paid the Sky Dive fees from the Local Community Partnership Fund, so every single sponsorship penny raised by our girls will go to DAW.
Our nine superstars are Rachael Hailstone, Lauren Kemp and Milly Hart from the Sidmouth Branch, Rebecca Hancock from Honiton, Lauren Kent Teignmouth, Amy Hogan Torquay, Kate Askew Budleigh and Sarah Creed and Sophie Randle from our Newton Abbot branch. These branches have also held cake sale days in their branches to raise further funds for DAW.
Bath Travel & Dream-A-Way – The start of a great partnership.
