Earlier this year Tipton Wives were given a talk by Dream-a-Way about the work they do for families.
When it came to hold our Flower Festival at Venn Ottery Church we knew that we wanted to be able to donate some of the money raised to this wonderful charity.
So, in the hottest week of the year we embarked on our flower festival, to celebrate 250 years since Rev Toplady was our vicar and 100 years since our local boy Harry Wheaton Channon gave his life in World War One.
We are only a very small hamlet but we raised £100 for Dream-A-Way.
